…remember me…
A Son of Rome Chapter 1 The cold winter wind blew the sheep skin doors and windows open and closed. It was about sundown when a young Roman woman was laying in bed surrounded by her mother and sisters and the midwife named Girtha. "Push!' yelled Girtha, to Sheva the young woman giving birth. Sheva pushed and screamed until the baby came out. "It's a boy, it's a boy," she said as she gathered the new child into a swaddling blanket. "Your husband will be very happy to learn that you brought a man into the world," said Girtha. Sheva, covered in sweat and blood and panting trying to catch her breath she said, "Only if he returns from Caesars' war in the East." A worried look came across her face.

This is a tale about two life long criminals that meet each other while on the run. Their thieving takes them through the Ancient Roman Empire during the time of Christ. As predictability goes well with some drama, it is the unpredictable moments that make us rethink our own point of view.
