With the thought of the collapsing towers and all that had happened fresh on their minds, John and his investigation team prepared for their long flight to Ft. Hood. Each member tried to avoid eye contact with each other as they prepared their equipment for travel. "Take a deep breath and a good look around," said John to the team of three women and two other men. "This is the last time you are going to see New England for a while." "I'm going to miss Bean Town," said Lisa under her breath as she put her equipment on board. Gerry, a heavy set Caucasian middle-aged man, heard her and responded: "right now I just want to get this evidence to the lab so we can process all of it and find out who did this attack on us." Captain Hamilton and his co-pilot, Chief Warrant Officer Stevens, began the preflight checks of the Black Hawk helicopter assigned for the mission.
